The CDFL Regular Season

The CDFL is a summer football league for 18-25 year old players. All players register and pay league dues for: training camps, combines, skill development sessions, and games on a year round basis. Stats and player evaluations from the CDFL experiences are distributed to our college/semi-pro/professional contacts for player placement.
Registered players will receive an invitation to join the CDFL. All invited players will be tested in combine style sessions which will include the 40yd dash, 185 lb bench, vertical leap testing and shuttle run. Players will also be evaluated in position specific drills and non-contact scrimmages. Players are placed on CDFL teams after all completed registration materials are submitted to the CDFL. The number of players will determine the number of teams and games for the summer league. All CDFL regular season league games are played at our facility in New York on Sunday evenings through the months of July and August.

The CDFL utilizes an aggressive, wide open, offensive system that puts players in the position to continually make great plays. The CDFL offensive and defensive schemes are specifically designed to a collegiate level. Our game format is designed to be recognizable to college and professional recruiters. CDFL teams consist of 25 man rosters guaranteeing that everyone plays.

CDFL Practices are on game day, mainly focusing on mental repetition. Players will report 4 hours prior to the start of their game. to work out the techniques necessary to successfully execute the plays. Players must learn the CDFL the playbooks before arriving to games. Regardless of talent, a player cannot execute his skills if he does not know what he is doing on the field. This program allows the CDFL player to participate in our league by cutting down travel time and expenses. Players must report in playing shape, as all conditioning is done on their own.

Player placement:

Player evaluations and game footage along with general info, stats, combine results and, academic standing will be made available to recruiters as part of the CDFL placement process. Our staff and coaches are very experienced, with numerous contacts to college and pro level scouts in North America and Europe.
