The CDFL has Officially closed its Elite team season for the fall of 2009 due to a lack of opponents. The team finished 3-2 in its inaugural game schedule and advanced to the semi finals of the Gridiron Elite Winter Tournament. Players will have a brief time- off before returning to training for the second league season of the CDFL in 2010. Open tryouts for the CDFL will begin in January 2010 and continue monthly with clinics, 7 on7 shootouts and individual player workouts.
ALL CDFL MEMBERS WILL NEED TO HAVE EQUIPMENT and JERSEYS RETURNED, PRIOR to SENDING OUT HELMETS AND SHOULDER PADS FOR RECONDITIONING, BEFORE JANUARY, 1,2010 !!!
Registration for the 2010 CDFL season is on-going and the tentative format for next season is as follows:
CDFL Tryout Camp opens Monday June,28,2010-9am at the St. Lawrence Sports Complex , Hillburn, New York
2010 CDFL Draft Night 6/30/10 6:30pm at the Double Tree Hotel , Mahwah, NJ
2010 Game Dates July2, July6, July,11, July14, July 18, July 21,
CDFL Championship Game— July, 25,2010– 7 pm
