The August 27, 2009 CDFL press conference slated for 4 pm at the CDFL headquarters in Hillburn, New York will outline the future plans of the CDFL Fall 2009″ Elite Team” , league expansion, and details of 2 bowl games slated for 2009. Collegiate Development Football League Announces formation of 2 Bowl Games
The Collegiate Development Football League will host the first, North American Collegiate Development Bowl, Usa vs Canada, on Nov. 1, 2009 in New York.
In addition, the CDFL will sponsor the 2009 CDFL National Invitational Senior Bowl on Dec 5 , 2009 in New York. This game will consist of invited senior all-stars from the Div2, Div3, NAIA and CDFL 2009 seasons.

The CDFL ELITE TEAM General Info to Date:
Welcome to the Collegiate Development Football League. We will be having our CDFL” Elite Team” tryouts at the end of August. In preparation for our first game on 9/20/09. Please sign up on our website at– http://www.playcdfl.com/registration/ –so we can get your contact information to let you know exact details. It is of no cost to sign up, but a $25 tryout fee we be required at the time of the tryout . Please note that this will be applied toward the $250 participation fee, if you make the roster- Thanks and stay in shape-
Registration for the CDFL Elite Team is now open. The team is limited to a maximun of 40 players and positions will be filled on a need basis. The First CDFL Elite Team,’ Open Tryout’ will be announced 8/27/09 at the league press conference. Ttryouts will begin after sept 4, 2009. The tryout fee is$25 for new players. The CDFL Elite Team season will start Sept 20, 2009 and will conclude Nov. 1,2009. with the first annual North American Collegiate Development Bowl vs the Canada based Niagra X-Men.
The registration fee is $250 to become a member of the CDFL Elite team. The team will practice weekly and play a series of games this Fall against college club and semi-pro teams. Players will be responsible to provide thier own equipment and travel costs. All home games and practices will be held at the CDFL field headquarters in Hillburn, New York.
