CDFL 7 on 7 and Lineman Challege a Huge Success !!!

The CDFL says “Thank You” to all the players, fans and Red Bull for attending the 4/11/09 – 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge! “The league’s headquarters at the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Sports Complex truly became a “field of dreams” last night,” stated Director of Marketing Erich Timmerman. Boasting an attendance list of over 60 players, the 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge quickly became an event where instant brotherhood and camaraderie was felt between the athletes and coaches. They played the greatest game known to man under the lights on a cool night in early April as family, friends, coaches and scouts tuned in around the country to get “heated up” by the players impressive play making ability. “What a great time I had at this combine. “The energy, the passion for the game, the concept and everything else was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait for the next one, but most of all, I can’t wait until the season starts!!!     This 7 on 7/Linemen challenge was awesome! Being able to play with high caliber football players that want to better themselves was really good. Of course the Rockland/Roxbury team TORE IT UP! I can not wait till the next one in May. This league was a great idea and I am glad to be here for the first year and makin history!
